2. Print-on-Demand Notice
Important: All books are printed to order specifically for you. This means each book is produced individually after you place your order, which affects our returns policy (see Section 7 below).
3. Orders & Pricing
3.1 Order Acceptance: When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order. Your order is confirmed when you receive an order confirmation email from us.
3.2 Pricing: All prices are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already confirmed.
3.3 Payment: Payment is required in full at the time of ordering. We accept major credit/debit cards and other payment methods as displayed on our website.
4. Shipping & Delivery
4.1 Printing & Fulfillment: Your books are printed and fulfilled by BookVault, our trusted print-on-demand partner.
4.2 UK Delivery: Standard UK delivery typically takes 5-7 business days from the date of order confirmation. This includes printing time and postal delivery.
4.3 Delivery Address: Please ensure your delivery address is correct. We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by you.
4.4 Tracking: Where available, tracking information will be provided via email once your order has been dispatched.
4.5 Delays: While we aim to meet delivery estimates, we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Delays may occur due to printing, postal strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
5. Product Quality
5.1 Print Quality: We work with BookVault to ensure high-quality printing standards. Each book is printed using professional-grade equipment and materials.
5.2 Variations: Due to the nature of print-on-demand, there may be minor variations in colour or finish between different print runs. These minor variations do not constitute a defect.
6. Consumer Rights (UK)
As a UK consumer, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
7. Returns & Refunds
7.1 Print-on-Demand Exception
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel and return products purchased online. However, goods that are made to your specifications or clearly personalized are exempt from this right.
Our books are printed specifically for each individual order and therefore fall under this exemption. We do not accept returns for change of mind.
7.2 Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your book arrives damaged, has printing defects, or is incorrect, we will provide a full refund or replacement. This includes:
- Physical damage to the book (torn pages, damaged covers, bent spines)
- Printing errors (missing pages, blank pages, incorrect printing)
- Wrong book delivered
- Book not as described on our website
7.3 Lost or Non-Delivery
If your order does not arrive within a reasonable time (typically 14 days for UK orders), please contact us and we will investigate. If the order is confirmed lost, we will provide a replacement or full refund.
7.4 How to Request a Refund or Replacement
To report a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

- Provide your order number and a description of the issue
- Include photographs of the damage or defect (if applicable)
- We will assess your claim and respond within 2 business days
7.5 Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days and returned to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card provider to process the refund.

9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by UK law.
9.2 Subject to clause 9.1, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, or for any loss of profit, revenue, business, or data.
9.3 Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
